About

I am an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University, where I also serve as Vice Chair of the department.

I received my M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My graduate work focused on finite element modeling of helmets, woven fabrics, and other structures subjected to impact. Since then, I have continued working on computational mechanics, crashworthiness, composites, and dynamic loading. More recently, I have started developing architected materials and studying how geometry changes structural response.

I teach courses in mechanics and numerical methods, including Statics, Dynamics, Numerical Methods, Advanced Strength of Materials, and Senior Project. I also advise undergraduate and graduate students in computational modeling, mechanical testing, and structural design.
